Hi,
V3.0 of HUBwatch for Open-VMS VAX included some news fonctions (Alarming)
and the support of New Hardwares (Decbridg900MX).
for theses reasons upgrading from V2.2.1 to V3.0.0 is required (but no
mandatory ) before the upgraded of V3.0 of HUBwatch for VMS
this part as well documented in Release notes

1402.2 | It is written ... please read it! | ROGER::GAUDET | Because the Earth is 2/3 water | Mon Sep 12 1994 11:45 | 11 |
| All of the restrictions (that we know of) for a given version of the hub
firmware and HUBwatch are documented in the release notes. PLEASE take the time
to read them.
FYI, the latest version of hub firmware is V3.1.0. See note 1368 for
information about getting the firmware kit. There will soon be a HUBwatch V3.1
which, if you wish to take full advantage of its functionality, will require you
to upgrade the hub firmware. Again, this will all be documented in the release
notes.

1402.3 | At your own risk and peril | SLINK::HOOD | I'd rather be at the Penobscot | Mon Sep 12 1994 12:14 | 3 |
| If you run old firmware with new HUBwatch (or vice versa) you are doing so
at your own risk. New versions of HUBwatch are tested only with the latest
versions of firmware.
