1400.0. "Printing problem in Hubwatch-config.ps" by HGOVC::WILSONPOON () Mon Sep 12 1994 01:02
Hello,
My printing aborted after printing pages up to 1-13 of
Hubwatch-v31-install-config.ps;1 which was copied from
TNPUBS::PUBLIC$651:[PUBLIC.ONEHUB]. The error message is:
%LPS-W-UNDEF, undefined: Name not known - offending command is
088880888808888088880888808888800000F
%LPS-E-FLUSHING, Rest of Job (to EOJ) will be ignored
My printer setting is :
Qualifiers : /FORM=CPS$DEFAULT /BURST /TRAILER
Parameters : DATA_TYPE=POSTSCRIPT, NUMBER_UP=1, PAGE_SIZE=A, SHEET_SIZE=A,
SIDES=T WO
Is there anybody facing similar problem and what can I do now?
Rgds,
Wilson

I copied it about an hour ago and was able to print all
of it. Check that you got all of the file it should be 1555 blocks.
If you aren't using FTSV spool copy you should so that if the net
goes down it will recover and finish the copy.

1400.2 | It's OK for me too | TNPUBS::J_GOLDSTEIN | Run over on the Info Highway | Wed Sep 14 1994 09:47 | 8 |
| I am puzzled as well. I printed it here in LKG without any problems. The only
thing I can think of is the file became corrupted during your copy procedure.
What type of printer are you using, LPS20? LPS40?
If you can't get it to print but have access to a PC and Word for Windows V6, I
could send you Word for Windows file.

1400.3 | It's a printer problem | HGOVC::WILSONPOON | | Fri Sep 16 1994 00:17 | 6 |
| Yes, It's a printer problem. The printer 'PrintServer 20' always aborts the
job when it tries to print a graphic image on page 1-14. After swapping
the printer, problem fixed.
Thanks and rgds,
Wilson
