All the repeater modules are designed and qualified to operate within the limits of the 802.3 specification. Therefore the delay from any one port to another is less than 8 bit times regardless of the repeater or configuration (e.g., whether or not multiple repeater modules are acting as a single repeater using a backplane flex channel). |
