Hi,
I'm currently in the middle of installing and configuring a number of
DEChub 900s with DECserver 900, each with Flash Ram cards in them.
In each hub I've taken the DECserver 900 off the Thinwire segment and
placed one of its links on to an IRB. I've then, successfully used
HUBwatch to manage 5 out of the 6 hubs.
On the 6th hub however, HUBwatch responds with unable to "connect to
the agent" when I double click on the DECserver 900 module. I can
PING the device's TCP/IP address and I have enabled SNMP.
Any ideas or suggestions ?
Thanks and regards,
David.

1) What versions of MAM firmware and NAS are you running?
2) Is the community name on the DECserver "PUBLIC"?
3) Are SNMP sets enabled as well as GETs and GET NEXT on the server?
4) How is the DEChub 900 configured? out of band? in band?
If in band what are you using for an IP services module?
Thanks,
Bob

Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I solved the problem - SNMP weren't enabled
after all, rectifying this made the "problem" go away.
Regards,
David.
