    Hi,
    
    I am having a problem with Probewatch Management system Ver 2.23 on my
    system "PHASE5" , which is running VAX/VMS Ver 6.1 and DECnet/OSI. I
    can "fire up" Probewatch okay on other systems running under VAX/VMS
    Ver 5.5-2 ok.
    
    I do the usual :-
    
    msuman> su
    #setenv DISPLAY phase5::0.0
    #setenv NSHOME /usr/kits/probewatch
    #cd /usr/kits/probewatch
    #pwmanager &
    
    I then get the Probewatch Mgnt System window up. Click on Data Capture
    and it says "Data captured launched for agent:probe4" , but does not do
    anything further.
    
    	f I click on Domain View , I get a window showing probe4 Domain
    ALL. I then click on this and Segment Zoom which says Segment zoom
    launched for agent :probe4 domain all and nothing else happens. No
    error message is displayed.
    
    Can anyone out there throws some light on this , please???!!!

	I'm no X Window expert, but if it runs ok on msuman, then it sounds like the problem is that your X Windows server can't open another window. Both of the actions you took should open another window. Is there a log file associated with the X Window server that you could look at?

	Further to Ians original note, there seems to be something related to displaying on V6.1 systems specifically. Prior to upgrading my workstation to V6.1 and Motif the Data Capture window would launch ok and quickly pop up to be configured, however now I have upgraded I too get the launch info, but no longer get the window up. No log file is written either to my default login directory /usr/users/greid or to /usr/kits/probewatch. Is this being experienced by anyone else or just us here. Our workstations are both VS3100s.
