Hi There
I have a customer with a decconcentrator 900 MX ( firmware 1.1 )
attempting to configure a ring using the dechub900 "backplane"
He is using hubwatch for VMS 3.0.0
when he selects the configuration option on the concentrator
he has no building blocks appear ( fddi point <- lan interconnection )
so he cannot set up ports 7 ( or 8 ).
Is this a firmware problem ??
he has a bridge900 mx which he can set o.k.
I have not seen hubwatch talking to a 900 hub so am working in the
dark here !!
I read note 651 - and assume customer is tryin to configure
dual ring ...

1...6 ( a on 1) b
[conc] [bridge]

8............................1
(trunk b ) (trunk a )
but he gets no choices for concentrator ?

Hello tom,
yes ,it,s a firmware problem , upgrade to V2.0 using Decnduplus
and you could put your fddi ports anywhere..
