I have trawled S&O, OLIS, DECdirect, this notesfile, etc and can't find the answer. It's clear the DEChub 900 PSU's are universal. Why don't the DEChub 90 docs say? Am I safe assuming DEChub 90 has similar PSU voltage frequency range to DEChub 900??? Thanks and regards, Martin

I thought so but couldn't prove it. You have to own one to have the Owners Manual. We who sell rarely see or touch let alone own! I suggest the PSU auto-ranging should be mentioned explicitly in future Systems and Options, and other Sales type literature (normal code words are "Universal Power Supply"). In general please ask people who write information for the field to remember we have only the photos, diagrams and words in the sales literature to help us. (Unless we dive into the Notesfile and that takes a LOT of time - example I need to know about auto ranging on 12 different bits of equipment!) Configuring DEChub 900 is a nightmare. No doubt it's all explained once you've bought one - but how do you know it does what you want if there's no detailed data? Many thanks, Martin | |||||

I have a customer that wants to know if he has a UPS connected to the DEChub 90 and it takes 30ms for the UPS to switch from AC to DC effects the DEChub 90? With this 30ms time span, will this effects the modules in the DEChub 90 to go down? Phil D. |
