I can't seem to make the Domain Name resolver work for the IP stack
that gets installed with probewatch.
The Probewatch functionality works great because the documentation says
to put the probes in the hosts file so that DNR is not requred
but if i want to do "ping mtbox.ogo.dec.com" I get an unknown host
error.
I need to be able to run other IP applications using this stack. Can
anyone tell me how to get the DNR going. I noticed that neither DNR or
INETNAME is loaded in STRTNDIS.BAT

hi , read 1210, 1210.1 seems same problem , a DNR.exe file is a culprit, keep this file from Pathwork V5 distribution kit (official) resolved the problem. engeneering people are you aware of that ??? jean-yves | |||||
