Hi, Has anyone tried HUBWATCH 2.0 for WINDOWS with the MS-TCP/IP 32bit stack? It should be Winsock 1.1 Compliant. Customer reported troubles with it. He is getting an HUBWATCH-ERROR: STOP --- The socket can not be created Error number returned: 10001 (which means remote SNMP agent does not answer). Any experience or advices? regards, Manfred

Is this the Windows for Workgroups stack? If so, it was not supported by Pathworks V5.0. Though they have since made a fix, we have not yet included the fixed code with HUBwatch. Look for it in V3.1. | |||||

Hi, I've also seen this exact error if STRTNDIS.BAT is not run; i.e., the IP stack never gets created. Never overlook the obvious! Check the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and anything it does/doesn't do! |
