Is in-house training available in how to use Hubwatch? I have tried to teach myself how to use it by following the manuals and by getting advice from others, but learning it this way is very slow. I am continually getting stuck and asking people for help. Because there are no Hubwatch experts in the Access Servers Group, I usually end up asking Tom Hood for help. The kind of training I'm talking about is where a group of people, either all in-house or a mix of in-house people and customers, sit in a classroom/lab with terminals and perform exercises guided by an instructor. The kind of training that used to be readily available in Digital. I think readers of this conference would agree that Hubwatch is not real easy to learn, especially for people who are inexperienced at point-and-click UI's.

No training is available, except for special classes for support centers, distributors, and sales people. Unfortunately, this is the new Digital, not the old Digital, so I don't expect training to be available for customers and internal people any time soon. Contact Ed DELNI::BUZZELL, who does the above special classes, for more info. jack | |||||

I agree with .0. We (face-to-customer types) need to be seen as very knowledgable if not experts of how to set up a HUBwatch system and it it can be used. I have spent a great deal of time getting it to (sort of) run on my 425SL laptop. greg_t |
