  hi,


 newers members in my Favorite Dechub900 ,a Decrepeater900GM showed in lot of
"invalid Frames Received" on Aui port.

 after reading the magic formula for calculation in the help files
 , i very troubled: 
 no hard error are registred with some lan analyzer (hp4972,Hp4980,Iris)
 All works as expected in the networks (decnet copy ,lat session...)

 in fact, the only traced of problem in this counter in the 900GM aui port..

 in my configuration AUI port is directly connected to a FOT (fiber optic       
 Transceiver). may be this kind of configuration disorientate 900GM

 thanks for any comments

    I assume you are getting these counters from the HUBwatch port details
    window. Is this true?
    
    By trace allignment errors do you mean frame allignment errors (as
    reported by HUBwatch)?
    
    Where are your LAN analyzers placed on your network relative to the
    DECrepeater 900GM AUI port connected directly to a fiber optic
    transceiver?

       yes in port counter under huwatch

  sorry, it's more complicate  , in fact all fiber are connected to a ornet
  star (Chipcom products) and i put some analyzer on different segment as
  simple picture showed below.
 
  next step is to replace the FOT between the fiber and aui of 900GM
