1115.0. "Functionality of "Stations" button implemented in Hubwatch V3.0??" by ZUR01::FUEGLISTER (Roland Fueglister, 760-2498) Tue Jun 14 1994 12:05

				Hi,

What should actually happen, if I press the "Stations" button in the Hubwatch
V3.0 Repeater Port Summary window??

I have the "Last Source Address Seen:" field filled out in the form
aa-00-04-00-xx-xx and the Field "Total:" is ???.

After pressing the "Stations" button the Field "Total" changes its value to a
"0".
The "Connected Stations" window remains always empty. What are the prerequisits
that this search does anything useful??

If I have a source address of "aa-00-04-00-xx-xx", I expect to see the
translated DECnet Address in the "Connected Stations" window. Why this doesn't
happen?

How is the DECnet Name resolved? I assume, there must be an entry in the
Permanent Decnet Phase IV Database?

How is the IP Address/IP Name resolved?

You will see the connected stations - which is a list of stations known
to the selected repeater port.

Make sure that you have a station connected to the port you are looking
at... and make sure that it is source address from above. I looked at my set-up
and the port that the source comes into has the address displayed correctly.

	Yes

Hope this helps...
Tom
