1111.0. "Hubwatch help window doesn't go away" by TOOK::MORRISON (Bob M. LKG1-3/A11 226-7570) Mon Jun 13 1994 17:38

  I think I may have found a bug in Hubwatch V3, which I just installed. I
opened the Community window and clicked on the HELP box at the bottom of the
window. After a long delay, a blank Hyperhelp window opened. I decided I
didn't want help bad enough to wait for it, so I clicked on the upper left
corner and selected "Close", which I expected would close the help window.
It hung in a state such that when the cursor was in the window, the clock
symbol was displayed, but when I moved the cursor out of the window, it
worked normally. I dragged the help window to the lower right corner but can't
get rid of it.
  Why doesn't selecting "Close" promptly close the help window?
  Also, I noticed that when entering text in fields for hub name, contact, and
location, the delete key doesn't work. Is there any way to recover if I make
an error in entering text, other than to click on "refresh" and start over?

1111.1a little more info please...NACAD::GORDONTue Jun 14 1994 10:0712
    Hi,

     Can you give us a little more information here. Like what versions of
    VMS, Bookreader,Motif and what platform this is installed on ie:4000-90
     etc.etc.
    We (systems test) have seen a number of windowing problems that may
    have something to do with 4000 type systems running motif 1.2 that we
    can't put a finger on.

    						Thanks,
    						Tim

  I don't know off-hand what version of Bookreader and Motif I'm using. I am
using a recent version of VMS. The platform is a VAXstation 3100 M48.
