Hello, Flood Mode comes automacally if you exceed 200 stations in the work group because they don't fit in the address table. But I have a customer that is using a DECbridge 90 with Boot Rom 1.14 and I knew that this version doesn't have Flood Mode. In this particular case, my customer intend to use more than 200 stations in the work group and he would like to know how many station will fit in the DB90's address table ? More than 200 ? Regards/ Carlos.

Advise your customer _NOT_ to use this product with more than 200 nodes on the workgroup side. It will _NOT_ work. If they can't reconfigure the network to get below the limit, then have them replace the bridge with a repeater - it will do what the bridge in flood mode _should_ do, but more reliably. | |||||
