| Hi Thomas,
I'm not familiar with the notation you're using. I've always seen four
dotted decimal octets when specifying an IP address. So I don't know if
193.183.255 is really:
193.183.255.0, or
0.193.183.255
The first is a class A address, while the second is a class C address.
Can you clarify this?

This is currently a bug in all our products. Even the ones we will ship this
wave. However, we have no need to panic. We can easily fix this in the
45 day upgrade if enough people think its important enough.

Note 964.0 TCP/IP adress bug! No replies
STKAI1::KYLANDER 12 lines 6-MAY-1994 09:07
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
TCP/IP adress question
We have eventually found a bug in the DECrepeater900TM software around
the tcp/ip adress. Its not possible to give a repeater following tcp/ip
adress 193.183.255. 193.183.254 is ok, is there a maximum limit ?
