958.0. "Update DECagent90 with DECNDU problems" by UTRTSC::GROOT_R (Ronald de Groot) Thu May 05 1994 07:19

I have some problems and quistions about NDUplus and NDU2.0. I try to upgrade
a DECagent90 and had the following problems.
Note:The DECagent90 is already upgraded that's not the problem!

1.When use DECNDUplus for DOS I get the following error when I use the
  following command;
  decndup /u/v/i/n 08-00-2b-01-23-45 c:\denma.sys

  DECnduPlus:Beginning MOP downline load
            :error during boot message
            :receive error

The agent does not respond?, but the problem was that you must use spaces
  between /u/v/i/n.
  decndup /u /v /i /n 08-00-2b-01-23-45 c:\denma.sys is working fine!
This is not a real problem but only nice to known.

2.DECNDUplus for VMS needs UCX to install? Is there a way to install this
without UCX because to upgrade the DECagent90 you only use MOP? I know
that NDU needs IP to upgrade orther hardware products but you can use
NDU2.0 without UCX (but with a license).

3.DECNDU2.0 from the VAXBINMAR943 CD don't work with VMS6.0 ! I get the
  following when I try It.

$download load/conf/log/nomanagement 08-00-2b-01-23-45 mom$load:denma020.sys
