The failover times for DECrepeater redundant fiber links are as follows:
Repeater Typical Maximum
----------------- ------------------ ---------------
DECrepeater900FP 3 - 6 milliseconds 10 milliseconds
DECrepeater 90FS 4 - 8 milliseconds 15 milliseconds
There are no differences in the failover times between configurations
using partial fault detection and full fault detection. The only difference
is that some types of faults will not be detected at all in the partial
fault detection case.

I don't quite understand your question? Would you please elaborate?

A working "standby" link can easily be made the "active" link by using
the link toggle feature which appears on the HUBwatch redundancy view.
This can also be accomplished by setting the appropriate MIB object in
the dechub900-erptr-mib-v1-0.txt extended repeater mib.
It should be stressed that this process is MANUAL. A repeater will NOT
automatically re-activate a previously broken primary link if the
fault is removed.

thanks rich,
all informations are clear now, due to the low timing of failover , i think
that all procotols (like decnet lavc lat tcpip) works as well in failover
configuration
