 hi ,


 using Data capture from probewatch windows,i am faced with strange problem:

  When i select in address type field "MAC" and if i put a MAC address
  (AA-00-04-XX-XX-XX or 08-00-2b-XX-XX-XX) starting the data capture a error    
   message appears on the bottom of the screen "invalid mac address",and the    
  capture failed
  using ip address all works as well.


 any clue/hints for this problem

    Hello,
    
    I have just had a customer with exactly the same problem as .0.
    
    In our case the customer was not using the correct format for the mac
    address. Apparently it has to start with 0x and have no hyphens, 
    eg 0x08002b259507 for the address 08-00-2b-25-95-07.
