hi, i know this problem has already answered in some notes behind, but i have always some trouble to manage 2 Decbridge90fl in Dechub900 i have installed agent90 (v2.016) and i use Hubwatch for Windows V2.0. in fact in display windows i see these Decbridge90fl but i can't "double click" on it. i have found only one Workaround to bypass my problem : enter in agent file my Decagent90 afterthat make current it, create a community for my decbridge90 and make current it too , after i can add decbridge90 in a Dechub90 display and manage it. but when i re-entered in Dechub900 display windows i have the same problem., i can't manage directly my Decbridge90fl. if anybody have already fixed this problem thanks to provided my the solution

There are several steps that need to be followed, most of which you have done. Steps 1-3 are needed to add the new bridge community to a DECagent 90. Step 4 is needed to associate the MAC address of the DECbridge 90 with the IP address of a DECagent 90 in the HUBwatch Agents file. You would go through the same procedure to add a standalone DECserver 90L+, or to add a hub (with a DECbridge 90) to a DECagent 90 that is not in that hub. 1. select the DECagent 90 that you want to use as a proxy, making sure that you have selected the "home" community for that agent. By home community, we mean the community that the agent itself is in. 2. Make that agent current 3. In the bottom screen, add a community for the DECbridge and give it Read only and Read-Write strings that are unique for that particular DECagent 4. Then go back to the Agent table in the top half of the screen and click on Add to add another agent; specify the same IP address as the existing DECagent 90 in the table, but give it the MAC address of the DECbridge 90. You might also want to put in some words in the comments field to remind yourself which bridge this is. | |||||

Jean-Yves, When you add the community to the DECagent 90 for the DECbridge 90, try adding it as a standalone. Bob |
