    Folks,
    
      When engineering puts field test and pre-released versions of
    HUBwatch or agent firmware on the network via this notes conference
    there are four major benifits.
    
    1. You help us find bugs before we ship.
    2. The test releases help you demo and sell before the product is
       available out of manufacturing.
    3. You get trained on the product ahead of time.
    4. Sometimes we fix bugs in earlier versions that were support
    issues.
    
    But there is one major draw back which we are seeing more and more
    of. This is that customers end up with the field test software and
    sometimes never get upgraded to the shiping version. This causes
    customer satisfaction issues and gives the support people fits.
    
    Please, please, please if you give a customer a field test release...
    make sure they get upgraded to the shipped version once it is
    released.
