I installed today T2.8 on a DECstation300 (386SX-16Mhz) with 4MB, QEMM703 and smartdrv (default = 512k for windows). Before that I had installed V1.1 (that was to slow on a DECstation300 to work with) and after that T2.5. To startup HUBwatch for a community (DECHUB) takes about 40sec after that to few a module takes about 8sec. Not so fast but I get no errors and it is working. The install "problems" I have seen are; 1.The file TSWIN.HLP is TERMWIN.HLP (not a reel problem) 2.In config.sys PROTMAN.SYS and DEPCA.DOS are remarked what is correct but if you use the MSDOS6.x MENU than also the PROTMAN.SYS and DEPCA.DOS for e.g. TCPIP for Pathworks will be remarked. 3.PCSA.DRV and DECW.386 are in the windows directory and not in de windows\system directory. (maybe this is right but normal .DRV and .386 files are installed in the windows\system directory). 4.When you use 4DOS50 then it is not possible to load DEPCA.DOS on this PC. Ronald de Groot
