Hi, I browsed through this notes file and I couldn't find any entry related to the problem that I face. So, I suppose that I need to look to my own environment to find the cause. When I'm in the LAN INTERCONNECT VIEW and I try to create a new lan the application craches. I loose all connections from the modules to the different LANs and I receive an error-message "add failed". I need to restart the application to get evrything right again. I tried allready three different versions (Vt2.1, Vt2.3, Vt2.5) all with the same result. Does anybody has any idea of what can be wrong in my setup. Peter

Peter, I had this in T2.1 but not since. You are using the r/w community to do this aren't you? Forgive me if thats insulting your intelligence! Another easy mistake is to disconnect the repeater providing IP services from the Thinwire LAN onto something else. You can't manage an awful lot afterwards. Sorry its not much help.... Yes, I'm using read/write community. Is this supposed to be a problem ? I did not disconnect the repeater which delivers the ip services for the hubmgr. Rgds....Peter |
