667.3DECbridge90 V3.2 - Is SSB due out soon??WARABI::YRURETue Mar 29 1994 23:0018
    Hi,

I have a customer running DECbridge 90 Version T3.2 and was wondering
when V3.2 SSB is due to be released.

The reason we installed T3.2 was to get around the problem of false
address reporting when doing the "Show Address" command from the
console, when running V3.1. But alas the problem persists.

So I'm hopeful that production release of DECbridge 90 V3.2 has
resolved this problem as it makes it very hard for the customer to
    manage their network.

    In other words HELP!

    Regards,
    Manuel Yrure

Manuel,

I presume the customer is TAFE ??? If so, we do have your IPMT case and we are
working it. We have committed to having a resolution or a position statement on
this problem by the end of April.

    Hi,

You're 100% correct, it is TAFE NSW that I was referring to.

The reason this is starting to become critical is that TAFE are
starting to view our Communications products as unmanageable - speaking
from a Network Management perspective. This obviously is not a good
    position to be in.

So having said that, it would be highly advantageous to have a
resolution by end April. Failing that a position statement would have
    to suffice.

What would be extrememly helpful is a workaround, just until a final
resolution was proposed - but I know I can't have everything.

Thanks very much for your response.

    Cheers,
    Manuel

BTW - If you're wondering what my role in life is within the TAFE
account - it's Service Management for TAFE NSW.
