Can Hubwatch be simultaneously with Novell NOS with a 3com board? I have a feeling the answer is no. I assumed it could since I have it running on my PC with a Xircom board and PATHWORKS. If the answer is "No" (and you have to reboot the PC to run the NOS either/or HUBwatch), then will this ever change? If so, when? (This particular customer with Novell and 3Com boards needs this capability now). Thanks Cindy

593.1 | They do have IP transport | ODIXIE::RICHARDSON | Are we there yet?? | Wed Jan 05 1994 08:21 | 2 |
A little more detail - They do have LAN Workplace for DOS (which allows IP transport from the PC to the server) if that helps.
593.2 | Novell compatibility is unknown for HUBwatch 2.0 | NAC::FORREST | Mon Mar 07 1994 11:28 | 5
HUBwatch for Windows V2.0 uses the TCP/IP stack from a Pathworks V5.0 client. We have not tested in a pure Novell environment, and have no knowledge how compatible their IP stack is. We hope to do some testing in the near future, but after V2.0 ships. |
