567.0. "set server password" by HLRG02::NOTES (Opel Manta) Thu Dec 16 1993 05:17

    Hi,

Is it possible to set the server password of a DECserver90L+ using
    HUBwatch.
If yes, how to do this.

There are certain things you shouldn't ask about. Passwords and
DECserver 90L+'s and HUBwatch are one (three?) of those things.

No, version V2.0 of HUBwatch does not let you change the DECserver
90L+ password. You must do that at the DECserver. Once you've set
a password at the server, you must then add that module to the
DECagent through the HUBwatch Add Module window. You *must* include
    the password in that window!

This is a problem for the new-rev autodiscovered 90L+ modules, since
there is no way currently to tell the agent what the password is for
modules you don't add. So, the best way to handle the autodiscovered
90L+'s is to *not* set a password.
