Hi, I have the following question: Is it possible to manage also DEChub90's with the DEChub900 Management module? This because a customer has lots of 90's which he wants to manage now. So he can buy some DECagent90's to manage the DEChub90's. Or He can buy some DEChub900 Backplanes and put first some 90 modules in it (later on 900 modules) and with the DEChub900 Backplanes he will manage also some DEChub90's. To be specific: He has 13 DEChub90 backplanes. - He needs 4 DECagents, or - He needs 4 DEChub900 backplanes ????? Kindest regards, /-/ Henk van Steeg Digital Holland.

Sorry, no. One of the things that makes the 900 Hub Management Agent Module technology independant is that it does not have a MAC of its own (so it has no built-in bias toward any network technology, also so it is cheaper). So it has no way to talk to other remote hubs. |
