Are there any limitations on the number of Hub's and/or ports a HUBwatch V2 can manage? We're proposing a large configuration, with 30 DEChub 900MS with 6 DECrepeater 900TM and 1 DECrepeater 90 each. This amounts 5760 UTP ports. Can HUBwatch V2 handle this? Will HUBwatch for DOS V2 be able to handle this? Any special consideration when configuring the PC station for that? Will more than 1 PC be needed? Maurcio

HUBwatch will handle as many agents as you've got. There is no limit. Because HUBwatch for Windows V2.0 is a port of HUBwatch for OpenVMS VAX V2.0, there are no special problems there either. Tom Hood HUBsquash | |||||

Hubwatch only manages 1 DEChub at a time. You can switch between any of these hubs at any time but you will only be seeing information from 1 hub at a time. For this reason, the number of total ports on all of your hubs never even enters the picture. John |
