Hi, Two questions on Probewatch/packetprobe 90. I have problem displaying the probewatch sw on a DEC3000-300 running OpenVMS 1.5. The windows that includes graph's seems to be the problem. Have anyone else seen this ? any workarounds ?. How many hosts can the probe store in the host table. ? Regards Niklas

I know the graphing libraries are ULTRIX specific; I don't know what this means to remote X displays though. I don't know what the upper limit is on the number of hosts; I think until it runs out of RAM, so then it depends on what else you have the probe collecting. I know it can do at least 1000. The bigger the table, the bigger the performance hit the probe takes in keeping up with utilization. |
