VTX tells me that Hubwatch for Windows V1.1 FCS will be in the beginning of next December. Is it possible to say how close the current version on NAC::MANAGEMENT: is to the final SSB version ? The background of my question is that customers are experiencing problems with V1.0 and are willing to wait for V1.1 if that resolves their issues. Unfortunately we have some problems when using FT1.1 internally, which makes me wonder if we can really help the customer out, in a couple of weeks. /\Pim.

We may not release 1.1 There is a bug in it that causes it to crash with a database error after 12 hours. We are currently working on this, but, if it is not fixed quickly, we may not relase 1.1 and wait for 2.0 in January. 2.0 is designed in house and is a port of VMS 2.0. 1.i is a buyout and will be the lastt produt from that vendor. If you want to see the difference, look at the demo disk (NAC::MANAGMENT:20_DEMO.TXT). | |||||

If V1.1 does get released, it may not fix the bugs that you are seeing in the copy available on the network - just the crash bug. |
