    I'am answering an RFP and I have a question for DEChub 90 and to be
    more specific with DECrepeater 90T.
    
    The question is related to the security.  could we assign only one
    physical address for each port.  If someone try to tap on the port with
    another address the port will shut off.
    
    If it is not supported for 90T will it be supported for the 900 series 
    and what will be the availability of the 900 series.

	It is not supported for the 90T but is supported in the 900 repeaters. Tom Hood
420.2	DETMI will also support security	DELNI::GIUNTA		`Wed Oct 13 1993 14:48`	3
	It is supported in the 900 twisted pair repeaters as well as in the new DETMI which is a 90 repeater, so if your customer requires security, you may want to consider quoting the DETMI instead of the DETMR.

	Thanks for the info, I try to look for the DETMI witch I do not find Do we have SPD, infosheet or any trace that I can use. Is this a released product?

	The DETMI is expected to FCS in Q3FY94, so is not a released product yet. It should be included in the PID, but I haven't checked it recently to see what's in there. How much detail do you need? Cathy
