Is there any competitive information available comparing the DEChub 900 with other vendor's hubs/concentrators? I would be especially interested in a comparison of the new Synoptics System 5000. Thanks. Merlin

| I need competitive information also.

From what I've read, the new Synoptics 5000 has 14 slots and
multi-Gb/s throughput is planned. It will have a 24-port 10BaseT module
that can connect to any of 12 backplane Ethernet data paths. It will
support up to a total of 312 10baseT ports. It will also have UTP
    FDDI modules.

I also hear that Chipcom is coming out with something slick.

We're in the lead, so how do we keep it? Help us with some competitive
    positioning please.

    Thanks.
