I'm in need of some information in a hurry, and wasn't exactly sure
where to start, so I chose the conference closest to area of interest.
We're in a position to replace an installed Ungerman-Bass LAN and I
would like to know what some of these UB components are. Can someone
out there enlighten me on the following, just very briefly what are
they.
- ASE7000/ASE300 (HUBs or Enclosures ????)
- ASM700
- ECM300
- ASM100
- ECM310
- 320T/2 (UTP repeater ???)
- 5330
- 6300 (Bridging/Router ???)
I think that's all.
Anything new recently in the UB world would be nice to know also.If you
can point me in the direction of UB Documentation or competitive
information we would appreciate that as well.
I apologize if this isn't the appropriate conference.
Regards,
Ray

I don't know all the part numbers but this may be of some help.
ASE 7000 is a 11 slot hub ASE 3000 is a 5 slot hub
ASM 100 is a terminal server LAT/TELnet
320t/2 is a 12 port 10baset repeater the /2 is a daughter board to give
extra diagnostics
5300 is an ethernet to Ethernet bridge
6300 is a wide area bridge upto 2 M/bit
Most of UB attention is going towards VNA and dragon switch at the
moment.

Neil
