370.0. "Wat&Carolie : HUB90* ??" by TKOV51::AOKI_H (Hiromitsu AOKI, Network Team/SE, Japan DEC) Wed Sep 01 1993 06:33

Could someone tell me the following concerning about DEChub 90 & 900 ?

 	1. Electrical capacity (Watt) and Electrical Heat (Carolie)
           of the following :

		DEChub900MS
        	DECrepeater900TM
		DECrepeater90T
		Power Unit

        2. Suppose, you put redundant power supply for DEChub900MS,
           is there any inclease of Eloctric power (Watt) ?

If it's trouble for you, please tell me where to look for the answer.

370.1Manual isn't clear on power specsNAC::FORRESTThu Oct 28 1993 17:5512
	The DEChub 900 MultiSwitch manual only says that it draws less
	than 10 Amperes; it doesn't not say how loaded it is.

	I don't know about the DECrepeater 900TM, but the DECrepeater
	90T draws about 6-7 watts.

	A single power supply will handle a DEChub 900 full of 90
	modules. You might need two power supplies for a 900 full of
	DECrepeater 900TM's
