Hi everybody,
a customer of us encountered a strange problem with the SHOW ADDRESS output
form his DECbridges 90 (V1.14 FPROM 3.1).
If compared the output of several show address commands from the same DECbridge
and he saw different port and slot number for the same ethernet address (see
the example output below).
This problem appears more intensiv, when
- an address will be seen only for a short time (e.g. during a PCSA Remote
Boot - request with the hardware address, working with physical address)
- the segmentation-errors on PORT 0 (not port 1-6) arise
- the traffic at the workgroup side of the network is high.
Any ideas what's the cause of this strange behaviour
