I am Sales support engineer in Japan.
I have some questions about DEChub900.
Please teach me.

(1) I heared that FCS date of DEChub900 MS and modules slipped. 
    The newest FCS date of them is ?

(2) Can 32 ports of the first released Repeater(DETMM) be assigned some 
    flexible channels by port?  or by group of eight ports?

(3) Can the first released DEChub900 MS support redundant power supplies?
    I believe that it support them because the additional power supply option 
    will be released at the same time.

(4) Is a standalone DECrepeater90FI managable via Ethernet?
    If it is managable, what kind of management protocol does it use?

	1. FCS is August 1993 2. Only the whole repeater can be assigned to a channel. Assigining byt either 8 ports or single ports (not sure which they will do) is a future (don't know when). 3. Yes- I blieve it will support redundant supplies. 4. I presume you mean FL or FA. They are only manageable in DEChub 90 that has a DECbridge90 in it. They will also be manageable in a DEChub 900 with no bridge or agent (hub manager handles proxying). Current DECrepeater 90's use Left Hitchcock.

	Thank you for your information. I think ... Many many DEChub900 modules and new 90 modules will be announced since now. So we should have the VAXnotes Conference of DEChub900 modules and new 90 modules. Do you think so? /Hayakawa

	I certainly agree, but so far I am the only one to have a conference around anything with the DEChubs, so ask your questions here (probably forever)
