| 1. To add the DS90TL to the hub, first add it in your agents file. Use
the Community pull-down, Manage Table option, and add it to the top
half of that screen. (see note below)
Then, select an empty slot and use the Configuration pull-down, Add option.
*** Make sure the Enable Status Polling button is OFF (out). ***
This will add it to a hub. Guaranteed!
If you want to manage it standalone, simply use the Community pull-down,
Manage Table option, and double-click on the DS90TL agent in the top half
of the screen (or select it with the check-box and press Make Current).
Note: You must have the ULTRIX environment variable HUBWATCH_LIBRARY
or the OpenVMS logical name HUBWATCH$LIBRARY defined *before*
using the agents table. That name should point to the directory
where your agents file (is/will-be).
If the agent returns any sort of error during the add module operation,
then the "an error may have..." message is printed. That message was
designed to be ambiguous enough to suggest that the add operation *may*
have worked. Again, if you have the latest version of the agent firmware,
the operation outlined above will work.

| Hello Tom,
We found the solution, why I wasn't able to add the DS90TL.
For security reasons we added the DS under community public, with no set privs.
But to add it, you need setprivs, because HUBwatch wants to overwrite the
"conntact" and the "loaction" field. Hubwatch want to overwrite it also, if
you let this two fields empty. But thats realy not nice. If you add the DS90TL
(also the Agent) under a priviledged community, everybody can have a look to this.
We tried to add a LATprint module under type DS90L+ but it doesn't work. Our
local server guru told me that the LATprint modules id is the same like the
DS90L+. ---> When will there be support for the LATprint?
