Hi, We would like to know if it is possible to interconnect two separate DEChubs 90 with a DECbridge 90Fl each one, to a third DEChub 90 with a single DECrepeater 90FL (4 ports) module. We hope so.... On order to manage each DEChub, is it necessary to integrate a DECagent 90 in each one? Ricardo. Julio

Yes. The third hub will essentially be the "backbone" connection to the other 2 hubs with DB90FLs in them. As for the 2 hubs with bridges, they can/will be managed thru the DB90FL mounted in them. As for the third hub, you will need a DB90 in it to manager what's there. This is because the DECagent will not now (V1.0) and probably not V1.1 manage repeaters without the use of a DB 90. If either hub 1 or 2 is close to hub 3 you could extend the management cable from 1 or 2 to hub 3. That way hub 3 would be managed as though it was slots 9 thru 16 from hub 1 or 2. dave | |||||

DECagent 1.1 will NOT manage repeaters without a bridge. Hopefully that functionality will be available by summer 93. |
