Hello, I am currently testing Hubwatch for Vms launched in Polycenter for a demo purpose. I can see color change when adding or removing a device on a repeater. I would like to alarm or notify DECmcc when something happens. So i have two questions : 1-Is there any way to set a trap and notify DECmcc ? I haven't see anything on the hubwatch documentation . 2- We can set traps addresses on the agent : what kind of traps is issued ? If no solution , could somebody say me where to find a private MIB for the Decagent90 ? Rgds Jean-Paul

157.1 | Traps require V1.1 of the DECagent 90 | MEMIT::FORREST | Thu Feb 18 1993 13:27 | 10 | |
Trap support requires V1.1 of the DECagent 90, due out about the same time as HUBwatch V1.1 on VMS and ULTRIX (end of Q3?). The final trap list is still being determined, but COLD START, WARM START, and CONFIGURATION CHANGE are in. You should be able to configure some polling in DECmcc to generate alarms till then. There is a copy of the MIB in note 68.1. |
