135.0. "HUBwatch for VMS, first try" by JAYJAY::KORNS () Wed Jan 27 1993 14:39

Neat-o ... now HUBwatch runs on something I have on my desk (I not a
VMS bigot, just stuck with it for now).

I had the prerequistes (VMS,Motif,TCP/IP,Bookreader) I thought, but
I get this startup message in reply to the MCR command:

%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image DECW$BKRSHR
-CLI-E-IMAGEFNF, image file not found $1$DKB0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.][SYSLIB]DECW$BKRSHR.EXE

This seems to have something to do with Bookreader and I noticed
(reading second time) that the prerequistes list this thing called
"OpenVMS DECwindows Motif Bookreader Version 3.1". Is this an optional
layered product license or kit? If so, does anyone know where a network
kit is?

Also, is this a required prerequiste that a customer needs to purchase?

    Dave,

    The HUBwatch for the VMS is linked with Bookreader API routines.
    So, if you don't have Bookreader (either V3.1 or V4.0) installed,
    the hubwatch will fail to execute.

    The Bookreader is a part of the VMS DECwindows Motif base system. So,
    when you install DECwindows Motif system, you will have Bookreader.
    So, we don't require a customer to buy Bookreader to run the HUBwatch.

    Let me know if you have any problem.

    Jae
    Just in case, if you don't have Bookreader, you can find the kit
    from the 2HOT::BOOKREADER note conference.
