129.1 | DEMNA V1.0 location | BIKINI::KRAUSE | European NewProductEngineer for MCC | Thu Jan 21 1993 08:30 | 7 |
| Roland,
you'll find the DENMA V1.0 software on
BIKINI::MCC_DISK:[HUB90.AGENT] along with installation
instructions. This should at least get you back on-line.

129.2 | We have instructions! | KALI::GAUDET | | Mon Jan 25 1993 12:38 | 8 |
| Roland, check out the file DENMA_LOAD_PROCEDURE.TXT in the
DIRT::DENMA$FT area. There are instructions on how to load the image
loader, then load the software image from NCP.
For everyone's information, check out $$WHAT_ARE_THESE_FILES.READ_ME in
the above directory for a brief description of what each file is.

129.3 | it doesn't work | ZUR01::SCHNEIDERR | | Tue Feb 02 1993 10:31 | 10 |
| Now I had time to test the new stuff. But it doesn't work.
The load of the LOADER works and the LEDs come on, the LED
closest to the Consol plug flashes.
But after the load from the NCP, doesnt work. The agent is quiet and the NCP
shows me a timeout.
Sorry, Roland
BTW now I loaded the DENMAV1_0.EXE from Robert, via the CCI.

129.4 | Things to check... | HADRES::KRAUSE | European NewProductEngineer for MCC | Wed Feb 03 1993 12:08 | 15 |
| Sorry Roland, but from your description it's not clear to me
what happened. Did you say that the 'load' from the CCI> prompt
completed successfully? That's good. Now, did you start the
software ('start 200000') or power the module off and on to do
so? If yes it should work now - at least it did for me.
You mentioned NCP. Did you try 'NCP CONNECT NODE' and got a
timeout? Doesn't surprise me, since to my knowledge the DENMA
doesn't implement MOP/RC. You could try SNMP requests, that
should work. But only after you configured the DENMA via
directly attached terminal with an IP address.
Regards,
*Robert

129.5 | It works | ZUR01::SCHNEIDERR | | Thu Feb 04 1993 05:10 | 8 |
| Robert,
Thanks for answering. Yesterday it worked. Roger gave me some tips (thanks).
The load command from NCP doesn't work. You have to use the trigger. The
load command from CCI works fine. Now the DENMA_LOAD_PROCEDURE.TXT on node
DIRT::DENMA$FT is o.k.
