What is the most reliable form of HUBwatch to demonstrate segmentation on a DECrepeater 90T. I have used the HUBwatch for Ultrix V1.1, this proved very flakey not letting me register DECrepeaters 90C or 90T there was also no real-time display of the indication lights on the HUB as I have seen previous on HUBwatch for Windows. The trial will be to demonstrate segmentation on a DECrepeater 90T, with HUBwatch detecting the line going from bad to good. The demo will be on customer site (Jan 5th). Can anyone help ? Should work with HUBwatch for ULTRIX/MSU 1.0, just looking at the front panel view LEDS. I think it works even when polling is turned off, but I would suggest you check that detail. The next version of 1.1 should also work at this level. Windows will show when the module partitions, but it does not show when it goes back to good, except the alarm can be canceled. (Let me know if I'm wrong on this). |
