Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding HUBwatch. As I understand it, the DECagent 90 requires a HUBwatch product for its graphic management and HUBwatch for Ultrix requires Polycenter SNMP Manager. a) Is Polycenter SNMP Manager a rebadged MSU ? b) Is it yet possible to run HUBwatch for Ultrix over DECmcc BMS ? Thanks for any replies. Harvey

Another way to say it, is that HUBwatch graphical management requires a DECagent 90. a) Yes, it is MSU renamed. b) It is possible to launch HUBwatch from the DECmcc map. See instructions in public directory - ENGINE::MANAGEMENT: Future: HUBwatch V1.1 can run just on ULTRIX - neither MSU nor MCC will be a requirement, though you will be able to launch HUBwatch from those maps. You will order only one kit for any of the following environments 1. standalone on ULTRIX 2. with MSU 3. with DECmcc BMS There will be a HUBwatch for VMS that behaves the same way |
