I noticed in the DEChub user's manual that two bridges cannot be installed in a single backplane. Can I, however, connect a standalone DECbridge 90 to a DEChub 90 that has a DECbridge on it through either a DECrepeater 90 or the DEChub's own ThinWire BNC connector? See notes 803.4, .5, .7 in ETHERNET_V2 notes file. The power supply in the hub should be able to handle a DB90 in slot 7 and 8. Full support through field service may take a little talking, though. dmm |
