    The attached question concerning the DECagent 90 came from my notes
    conference.  I noticed in note 25.2 that the DECagent should be
    available off the shelf by June could you give more information on its
    status as request in Kenneth Soo's memo?
    
    The last entry in this notes conference was Feb. 7th and there have
    been no reponses to it does this mean this conference is no longer
    being monitored as stated in note 1.1?

    HI TOM,
    
    I need your help to find out about a new product's schedule. It seems
    that we had a miscommunication over here that the product will be
    announced soon. We do have a confirmed order for it. The product's name
    is DECagent 90 which is an SNMP module on the DECHUB. Can you let me
    know when this product will be out and at what stage of testing it is
    now on and when will be the first customer ship and if possible,
    whether there is an early order program ?
    
    Need the information real bad.

	We are monitoring this conference - usually no more than a couple of days elapse before we respond. Perhaps someone answered 27.0 by mail - I'll check. DECagent 90 should be available in June worldwide. See note 23.0, point number 4 about early order program (seeds). It says to send mail to EMDS::SEAVER if interested in a seed unit. The order number is not up on the price file, so I don't see how you could have a "confirmed" order for the DECagent 90. I've been hearing a lot of requests that are single sided - i.e. just the DECagent or just the HUBwatch software. You should ALWAYS TRY to sell the customer one of each - the management module and the HUBwatch application that provides the graphical user interface. (More than one DECagent may be needed on a mid-to-large size LAN.) jack
