Hello, I had to install SNA server 3.0 on two NT 4.0 Alpha Clusters from Digital. On both clusters, when starting the SNA Manager, it takes about 5 minutes to get the SNA domain opened! Event log contains messages stating that no SNA domain is available. This occures even when restarting the manager window, thus even when the snabase and snaserver are successfully running for more than an hour. config details: - SNA domain different from NT domain. - Digital clusters of two Alpha's: - 1 is master, 1 is backup server - neither the system disk nor the disk where SNAserver is installed are shared as cluster services. Did somebody expereince the same on non clustered Alpha systems? Thanks, Patrick.

Hi, This problem is definitely due to Digital Cluster software V1.1. Deinstalling it just clears the problem! SNA server 3.0 SP1 doesn't change anything to the problem. I'll test with the new cluster software version in a few weeks, I'll post results here Patrick. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
