1097.1Not Routable.FLASK2::SYSTEMNigel Bridport @REOTue Jun 03 1997 11:299
	This basically means that the message could not be routed to the
	intended recipient because they don't have the SMTP, in this case,
	transport mechanism open to them.

	It could also mean that your Exchange server doesn't have SMTP
	access.

1097.2Where do I start ?42080::16.194.144.78::SharkeyaWinPass - now freeTue Jun 03 1997 16:584
So is it a problem at my end (REO) or the other end (my customer) ?

Ask someone else to try sending mail to that customer for you
(for example ask me!). That will help tell if problem is
on your end.

1097.4Delivery Transport order in your profile?rasmodem9.reo.dec.com::MCMICHAELA Cunning Plan...Tue Jun 03 1997 18:4718
Alan,

It's been a while since we met as I've reduced my exposure to PATHWORKS
considerably over the last year...

It could also be a client configuration problem! Do a right-mouse button
properties on your Inbox (or goto Control Panel and double-click Mail).
The properties for your default Exchange Profile will be displayed. Click
on the Delivery Tab. You should make sure that the Exchange transport is
at the top of the list. Otherwise, you could (for example) be sending an
SMTP address to the Fax Transport. This would, quite correctly, report
that it was unsure of how to handle such an address as it can only cope
with FAX addressees.

Ian,

I checked what you said - my system is set up correctly.

Eric,

The user in question is :

		[email protected]

The full error I get is :

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:
      Sent:	04/06/97 09:37

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      'Tony Mepham' on 04/06/97 09:36
            No transport provider was available for delivery to this
recipient.
