I am running the Exchange Client (V5) on an Alpha system. I have to profiles with which I can connect myself to TWO separate exchange servers, one is our group internal one, the second is the one that's replacing ALL-In-One. When I click on the INBOX icon I have to decide with which exchange server I want to be connected. Is it possible to have to CONCURRENT sessions to TWO different exchange clients running on my system at the same time? If YES, how do I do this? thanks Thomas

When you start Exchange/Outlook on your PC, it starts a MAPI session. Therefore, you can only have a connection to 1 Exchange Site at any one time. You can have delegate access to mailboxes on different servers within the same site, but not Exchange Servers in different sites. Nige. | |||||
1078.2 | FYI: TeamLinks 3.0 can do this | GALVIA::JFEGAN | Joe Fegan@ilo | Thu May 29 1997 14:56 | 5 |
You can do what you want with TeamLinks 3.0 (i.e. connect to two mailboxes on different servers at the same time) as long as the two mailboxes are owned by users in different NT domains. Joe. |
