Are both of you listed in the GAL as James Wilder, or is he listed
as Jim Wilder?

| Way back when we used all in 1, he and I both went by Jim. I know that
if I change mine to Jim and the other Jim Wilder does not, people will
never get mail addresses correct (heck - many people can't read now - I
keep getting mail for the OTHER Jim Wilder even though we are in
different locations AND different organizations).
I'll have to think about getting mine changed.
On another note..... is there anyway to have Exchange show me all the
"wilder"s it knows about? It appears that the name lookup requires
first name/last name. What if I don't know their first name.

Start a new message, type wilder in the "To:" field and hit <ctrl>k
and it will give you a list of all available employees.

"Wilder" into the Lastname field

Create new message
enter WILDER followed by TAB and fill in CC and Subj and text. The system will then
prompt you for wich WILDER you want
OR
Create new message
click TO box
pick GAL
click FIND
enter WILDER in the LAST NAME field and you will get a list of the WILDERs
you can enter the one you want as a nickname with a different name if you want

| Thanks for the replies. While not as easy as the SYSTEM supporting
multiple names (James, Jim, etc), it does work. Now, if Exchange would
only allow lookup via multiple first names.....
