Hi there I've installed Exchange Server 5.0 (US version) on NT 4.0 (US version) to do some testing, and the thing has decided to put some strings in French, mainly stuff in the SMTP logs, and stuff in users' mailboxes. For example from the Exchange client I see a "bote aux lettres" instead of a "mailbox". The server is set-up with "French" in Control Panel->Regional Settings (mainly to get the currency and date display "right") but otherwise as I said everything is in English. How can I convince Exchange to be "all-English" ? Thanks Vincent, a Frenchie who hates software in French ;-)

I think that the first client that connects to a mailbox sets its name with its language ("Boite a lettre" in French "Casella Postale" in Italian), as well as the names of default folders (Inbox, Outbox, etc). After that, also from an English client you see the French/Italian names. I don't think it's possible to change those names. Alberto |
