Hi, Just want to find if MS-Exchange will work via a MUXserver/DECmux with only LAT connection. PC is connected to DECmux via serial port (COM1:) and current use VT320.exe to connect to VAX via LAT protocol. Rgds, ...lee...

| No, Exchange uses a networking protocol such as TCP/IP or Netbeui. LAT is a local area (terminal) transport protocol. To do Exhange you would need to do PPP (point-to-point protocol). The MUXserver/DECmux only handle LAT and Telnet. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
